Meet Shawn Godfrey, The Roasted Dad and winner of MasterChef SA 2022, at this exclusive pop-up event. For three nights only, Shawn is getting together with Darren Badenhorst and Callan Austin in a unique collaboration as The Chefs’ Collective. You will be able to join in an intimate setting (20 guests only) for a ten course dining experience featuring dishes inspired by those Shawn cooked on the show as well as some once off creations from Darren Badenhorst and Callan Austin.

Host & Chef: Shawn Godfrey, The Roasted Dad & MasterChef Winner 2022, will be sharing his MasterChef journey highlighting some incredible insight into the behind the scenes of the filming as well as the arduous journey to the final. He will be serving up some dishes seen on the show .
Head Chef: Darren Badenhorst is a multiple award-winning chef de cuisine and restaurateur. As the brainchild and Head Chef of Le Coin Français, Le Chêne, Ōku Eatery, Tuk Tuk Microbrewery, Darren has won acclaimed awards in the EatOut Top 20 Mercedes-Benz Awards, World’s 50 Best Discovery, Haute Grandeur Global Restaurant Awards, TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Winner Worldwide, The Gourmet Guide-Plated Award for exceptional cuisine and numerous World's Best Chef Awards.
Executive Sous Chef: Callan Austin, Winner of the San Pellegrino Young Chef Academy award for Social Responsibility 2019/2021 in Italy, has worked in some of the best kitchens in the Western Cape, such as Le Coin Français and Chefs Warehouse at Tintswalo Atlantic.
Maître d’: Tom Pryor has experience in hosting some of the most prestigious events in the UK, Malaysia and South Africa and been involved with organising events in some of the world’s most well-known event spaces such as The Royal Albert Hall, ExCel London, Regent Park Square and The Hilton Metropolitan.
